No, you don't have to be present during the inspection. However, we highly recommend for you to be there. So you can see what the inspector is doing. It's also easier and faster to show any issues that are found. It's also faster for you to make a decision on the vehicle
We can always conduct the inspection on your behalf, we call that a Remote Inspection, There are extra fees that apply, because the inspector would have to take pictures and video of the vehicle, and upload the files and send a written report via email, normally within 24 hours of the inspection.
